Meet Olivia (she/her) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I enjoy working with individuals ages 18 and older and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, relational conflict, and trauma. I value overall authenticity and strive to create a safe, cozy space for clients in which they feel they can show up as their true selves.
I actively work to collaborate with clients, meet them where they are at, and apply interventions tailored to each individual. I utilize an eclectic approach, incorporating a mix of techniques from Family Systems perspective, CBT, Person-Centered, and Mindfulness to help facilitate growth and acceptance throughout the counseling journey.
As a queer person myself, I am extremely passionate about working with sexual and gender minority populations and have received specialized training to work with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Some of my favorite ways to practice self-care involve trying new coffee shops with my wife, going to the gym, reading, and thrifting with friends.

Values
Client-First Approach
Therapeutic success is dependent on the therapeutic relationship. I value learning a client's life story and working to gain their trust; always prioritizing empathy and rapport.
Curiosity
This field is always changing, so staying curious and being willing to learn alongside a client limits assumptions. Continuing to ensure evidence-based practice is paramount to providing ethical care.
Affirming & Inclusive
Therapy should be a safe space for clients to feel as though they can show up in the their most authentic way. I work to validate and support all identities and expressions, while emphasizing safety and inclusion.
Authenticity
I’m a firm believer in the power of connection, so you’ll find I bring my authentic self to our work together, not just a clinical persona. I'm a therapist who shows up as human - I show my personality, humor, and warmth in our shared space.
